Kirk
I have failed so bad at getting this done the last couple of years, but I'm going to try again this year. :D

If any one would like a holiday card from me leave your address here. Comments are screened.

On a completely unrelated note. How awesome is the Star Trek Blue-Ray/DVD? I bought the Blue-ray from Target that came with the cute little Enterprise model. I have been having a lot of fun watching all of the behind the scenes stuff. :D

Zach & Chris really?

Heroes was awesome! I really liked this episode. Zach did an amazing job like always.

A few of my thoughts about the episode under the cut.
Don't click if you haven't seen it.  )

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is out on dvd/blu-ray tomorrow today. Yay!

So I bought myself a couple of birthday presents. I got a new TV and a Blu-ray player. The TV is a 54 inch Panasonic  Plasma. The Blu-ray player is also a Panasonic and it came free with the TV. You want to hear the best part of the whole thing? The TV was delivered yesterday and  the delivery guys names were Zach and Chris. I kid you not, I had a hard time not laughing when they introduced themselves. I figured they would think I was crazy so I kept my amusement to myself.

The picture on the blu-ray is amazing with the blu-ray disks. It even looks great when your watching normal dvd's. I can' t wait to get Transformers RotF and Star Trek on blu-ray.

In other news I have started watching Heroes. Target had Seasons 1 & 2 on sale last week for $18.99 so I bought them both and I have to say I love it!  I'm not sure why I never watched it before, but I will be watching it now. I need to get the Season 3 dvd's and get caught up before the new season starts on the 21st.

Okay, I'm off to eat some pizza and watch Supernatural.
Have a good evening! *hugs*
20th-Aug-2009 12:36 am - Summer movies
Bumblebee/guardian

Hi guys! How are you?

I am happy to say that I have a brand new niece. Her name is  Lydia Grace Fox and she was born July 20th. She weighed 9 pounds 1 ounce. :)

Right now I am working on writing some reviews for all the movies I have seen this summer. My favorite is Transformers Revenge of the Fallen, with Star Trek running a very close second. I also saw Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince and Night at the Museum 2. Those 4 movies were the must see summer movies for me.  I never did see Terminator Salvation or X-Men Origins Wolverine. The trailers for those movies never did much for me and I figured I would just wait to watch them on dvd. From what I've heard from people I know  who have seen them, it was probably a wise decision.  I'm planning on posting my reviews in the next couple of days if anyone wants to read them.

Also, I'm totally blaming[info]jenlynn820 for my new obsession with Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto! :D

13th-May-2009 06:21 pm - Are you Lost?
lost title

The season finale of Lost is on tonight!
I am so glad that I gave up spoilers after Buffy, because I love not knowing what's going to happen. I have never even been tempted to read spoilers for Lost. I love being surprised and that is one thing Lost has always done.

Tomorrow night the season finales of Supernatural and Grey's Anatomy are on.
I can't wait to see the SPN finale! I know it's going to be awesome! There are some things that I haven't liked about this season, but there are also some things that I have absolutely loved. Season 1 is my favorite and nothing will ever change that, but season 4 is pretty high on the list too.

Grey's Anatomy is going to be good. It's two hours and I haven't decided if I want to switch after SPN and watch the 2nd hour, or if I want to wait and watch the whole thing. I'll probably end up watching the 2nd hour. It's a pain in the butt to have two of my favorite shows on at the same time. I always watch SPN and then watch Grey's Anatomy later. I'm just glad that they moved Lost back to Wednesday this season! :D

I still have to post my Watchmen review. Better late than never right? Right now I'll just say that I loved it! It was amazing and I can not wait for the director's cut.!

Green Day's new album 21st Century Breakdown comes out on Friday! I am hearing so many good things about this one, but I knew it was going to be awesome.  I can't wait to hear it.

Have a good evening, and to all of the Lost fans on my flist enjoy the finale! :)

So, I watched that Nickelodeon movie Spectacular! with my 4 year old niece and my 10 year old nephew. Coner and Hailey loved it, and I hate to say it but I actually liked it too. Hey, it's a musical and I love musicals. I actually watched it again by myself yesterday afternoon when they replayed it and I found myself singing along with it.
So yeah, feel free to make fun of me! :P

Seriously though it's a cute movie and the songs in it are actually pretty good. I bought the soundtrack and Coner and Hailey have listened to it a lot. The other day I think we listened to it like 8 times in a row while we were playing with the Wii. So now you all know just how big of a dork I really am! I think i've embarrassed myself enough for one day, so in other news:

Supernatural got renewed for it's 5th season!!!
I saw a preview for the next episode and it looks so awesome I can't wait until Feb 12th. The rest of this season is going to be pretty amazing.  I've actually really liked this season with the exception of all the Sam/Ruby crap.

Leverage also got renewed for a second season. I can't even tell you how much I love this show.  I really only watched the first episode because Christian Kane is in it, but by the end of that episode I was totally hooked. If you haven't watched it you should definitely check it out.

Watchmen comes out this Friday. I have been so excited about this movie since I saw the first trailer for it almost a year ago.

Now I am off to finish watching LotR. I hope you are all having a great weekend!

*hugs*

I just got home from seeing Friday the 13th. I loved it! It's so much better than the original. A few of my thoughts about the movie under the cut.

2nd-Nov-2008 09:45 pm - Nano update #1
Nanowrimo participant 08

I'm doing Nanowrimo this year. I'm writing my version of Supernatural season 4. I love the relationship that Sam and Dean have, so It's going to focus mostly on the Winchester brother's and how the job they do affects them and their relationship. There will possibly be guest staring roles from some of my favorite slash parings at some point. Just so there isn't any confusion,  Sam and Dean are brothers in my fic and nothing more!  I may post a paragraph or two just to see what you guys think.

I'll try and post updates on my progress every day.
Wish me luck!

I hope you are all having a great day.

Hopefully I'll be able to post some of my pictures from Projekt Revolution this weekend, and also a short review of the show. Speaking of concerts, I'm going to two more this month. I'm going to X-fest out at Verizon Wireless Music Center on my birthday(September 13th). I'm also going to see MSI on September 23. I'm really looking forward to seeing MSI again, I had a lot of fun when I saw them at PR last summer. I've seen a few people who have done this on their LJ's and I thought it was a cool idea. So right now I'm typing out a list of all of the concerts I've been to in the last 7 or 8 years. I'll post the list when I'm done.

MCR people, who else thinks Gerard lost a bet? LMAO:D  I don't really care what color his hair is, but I have to thank him for keeping me amused all week. I actually think I'm starting to kind of like it. Yeah, I'm not sure where that came from either.
Only Gerard would do something this random! )
Have a good weekend everyone!
*hugs*

25th-Aug-2008 10:40 pm - Welcome to the world!

We have a new  baby girl in the family! My great niece was born this morning at 9:50. She weighs 7 pounds 4 ounces and is 20 inches long. Her name is Lauren Christine Marie Shotts. Lauren and her Mom are both doing great.!  She is a perfect little angel. I got to hold her earlier and the whole time I held her she was trying to get her whole little fist into her mouth. My Nephew was so proud and I know he is going to be a wonderful Father. The funny thing is that today is  my niece, Kristyn's 20th birthday and it is also my brother's 18th wedding anniversary.

I went to Projekt Revolution on the 17th and had a great time. Linkin Park was amazing like always! I really liked Ashes Divide and Chris Cornell too. We met the guys from Ashes Divide and the were so sweet!  I bought their Album and had them sign it.  Between the two of us my Sister-in-law and I caught 3 guitar picks and almost caught a towel that Chester threw into the crowd. Tina caught a pick from Ashes Divide and one from Chris Cornell. I caught one from Chris Cornell too. Hopefully I'll have a review up soon.(of course I still haven't gotten my review up from last year so it could be a while. :D) I took some pretty good pictures, I'll try to post a few of them in the next couple of days.

How awesome was the Dark Knight? Heath did an amazing job as the Joker. I've seen it three times. Two in a regular theater and one in the Imax. The Imax was awesome. If you haven't seen it in the Imax theater you should seriously go see it if you can.

I know I've missed a bunch of birthday's. So if you've had a birthday in the last couple of months I hope you had an awesome day!

2nd-Jul-2008 12:08 am - Time for a change!
The Black Parade is Dead
The Black Parade is Dead, and so is my old layout!

I've had the same layout since October 2006 so I figured I was long overdue for a change of scenery.  As soon as I saw this layout I knew that I wanted to use it. I have a few changes to make to the sidebars, but so far I like the way it looks.

I found out that Mr. Bob Bryar was the one who designed the awesome mask that came with my The Black Parade is Dead! package. Very cool!  I can't even tell you how much I love the dvd. I am never going to get tired of watching it.

Gerard~We'll carry on

I'm dusting off one of my black parade icons for this one!

MCR fans, did anyone else get their limited edition or regular edition of The Black Parade is Dead!  yesterday? I just finished watching both parts of the dvd and I just don't have the words to describe how awesome it is! From now on when anyone asks me why I love MCR, I'm going to make them watch this. It reminded me why I fell in love with those 5 guys, and why I still love them. I'll probably post some of my favorite parts later, but right now I'll just  say that all of the Maxwell's show will probably be on that list. I'm actually watching some of the Maxwell's show again right now!

I'm glad I went ahead and got the limited edition. I love the mask I got with mine. I've already scared everyone in the house with it. :D  There are a couple of pictures behind the cut if anyone wants to see.
